Divine union

Beloveds of my heart,

All new subscribers…welcome

This newsletter is titled “Ministering the Sacred.” To me, that encapsulates our purpose during our time on earth, and it is what I intend to fully embrace for the rest of my life. I am currently undergoing a deep transition into the role of an elder. I am letting go of the woman I used to be—the one who founded the Map of Womanhood work and focused on mending the soul of the village. Letting go means that while I will continue training women in this life-changing work of regenerating culture and nurturing our daughters, I feel called to prepare by path on the sacred mountain to hold the temple. To do this, I need to create space by moving to the edge of the village, allowing me to come to the heart of it. I hope that makes sense! I will share more about that journey on my Map of Womanhood School website.

What I want to focus on here is the sacred journey of both men and women. I wish to share with you the incredible gifts I have received in my life and why I feel changes are occurring. Some of you might know that I have two beloveds: Sunheart, who is in heaven, and Jason, who is here on earth. Today, I was triggered slightly by projections from others; it’s a vulnerable share for me because I love these souls deeply. There are so many miracles along this path. To experience this profound love, I had to completely surrender, which was losing my mind in the death and grief of sunheart. But that pain led me deeply into my heart.

There is much discussion right now about divine union—twin flames, polyamory, radical monogamy, and the divine union within ourselves. Much of the new age spiritual world seems intent on guiding us on how we should relate to one another.

I want to share a series of blogs about my sacred marriage. I am in the sacred marriage of Christ with both of my beloveds, and I will elaborate on that in the next blog. First, I want to introduce you to the deeply sacred path of Yanantin. I am a carrier of a Yanantin Hampi mesa, which is an Andean medicine bundle for divine union. It contains the Apu, the spirits of the mountains, and the Nustas, the spirits of the waters— the masculine and feminine forces of nature existing in divine union within the land. This bundle will be embedded in the heart of the Sunheart Temple in Portugal. The Andean cosmovision of divine union is profoundly grounded in the reality of love. Jason is my Yanantin. I borrowed the following description of Yanantin from Wikipedia:

Yanantin is one of the defining characteristics of native Andean thought and exemplifies Andean adherence to a philosophical model based in what is often referred to as a “dualism of complementary terms”[2] or, simply, a “complementary dualism”.[3] Much like in Chinese Taoism, Andean philosophy views the opposites of existence (such as male/female, dark/light, inner/outer) as interdependent and essential parts of a harmonious whole. Because existence itself is believed to be dependent upon the tension and balanced interchange between the polarities, there is a very definite ideological and practical commitment within indigenous Andean life to bringing the seemingly conflicting opposites into harmony with one another without destroying or altering either one. Among the indigenous people of Peru and Bolivia, the union of opposing yet interdependent energies is called yanantin or “complementary opposites.”

For us, yanantin doesn’t focus on the differences between two beings. That is what disconnects them. Instead, we focus on the qualities that brought them together. That is yanantin. We don’t really see the differences. That’s why we see them as not necessarily opposed, but as complementary. One on its own can’t hold everything, can’t take care of everything. Not only are they great together, but they need to be together. There is no other way. When there is another, it represents extra strength for both.[5]

he Quechua of Cajamarca say that something that is incomplete is referred to as chuya [alternate spelling], meaning “the one who is missing its other.”[8] Vasquez explained, ”In order to be whole, one has to pair up.”[9] Whether something is paired or unpaired is an important distinction within the Andean cosmovision. Regina Harrison noted, “Quechua speakers persistently distinguish objects which are not well matched or ‘equal’.[10] According to Platt, yanantin is the act of rendering equal two things that were once unequal—what he calls “the correction of inequalities.”[11] Likewise, some indigenous Andeans believe the following.

… [U]npartnered people are missing an important part of them. They say that when you don’t have a partner, you are only half of a being. Alone, you are precious, you are unique, but you are only part. You are not whole yet. This is because when you are by yourself, you are either accumulating so much that it is overwhelming or you are draining yourself so much that you become weak. Because of that, you will feel fear or confused or lost. … you may know yourself, but you can never see yourself. For that you need another person. You need other eyes, another perspective to see that. When you are a child, you have your parents, but when you become older you no longer have your parents to see you, to recognize you. As an adult, your yanantin, your partner, is the person who is there to see what you don’t see in yourself, just as you are there to see in that person what he doesn’t see in himself. That is why it is easier to take care of another person than of yourself—because you are not supposed to take care of yourself! For that, there is the other person.[12]

It has thus been implied that a perfect yanantin relationship is achieved when two energies are brought into harmony. Among the Macha, Platt explained, “The elements to be paired must first be ‘pared’ to achieve the ‘perfect fit.’ Here the crucial notion is that of the sharing of boundaries in order to create a harmonious co-existence.

The Quechua word masintin is often used in tandem with yanantin, as in yanantin-masintin. This indicates the process by which the yanantin pair becomes “pared” in Platt’s terms, or harmonized to achieve a perfect fit. Webb’s research participants described masintin as, “the process, the experience of that yanantin relationship.”Masintin is what is materialized. It is what is self realized, not what stays in theory. Masintin is to enter into the spirit and the essence of anything, of the thing. Of what has been materialized. Of what has been imagined. You must enter into the spirit of it. Masintin is to create, recreate, and procreate.

I truly believe that Jason and I are Yanantins, working together in the process of masintin to see the divine in each other. We practice masintin by nurturing the sacred marriage I have with Sunheart through the veil. The soul contract that Jason and I share is to bring the love of heaven into our yanantin and share it with the world

Part 2 about the mechanics of the sacred marriage garment of christ in the next blog

The eternal truth of love is that there is no separation , only deep wells of even deeper finer radiance that we can find in the depth of our hearts before we die. listen to the places of enormous pain, j that lies in the cracks, and let yourself break open… into the mystery of what is continuously unfolding through us into life. Miracles are everywhere, and the celestial river of eternal love is the journey we are all on.. my love, we are destined to always carry each other home.. let yourselves love each other again.. only seeing each other through the eyes of this deep well of the inner beloved can we admit the truth that we are home in each other’s arms.. don’t be afraid of the belonging that comes from dying. We are dying together now. Allow the expansion and ressurection to move through as you break
